His work went on the songwriting process for the band's second album with the bands new singer Jeremy Fletcher out of Texas. Dimitrienko & Fletcher co-wrote hit singles together such as "I Wish", "Darkside" and "Rest in Peace" which became some of the fans favorites. During this time, Dimitrienko began playing popular clubs such as People's downtown Des Moines, opening for national rock sensations such as Lacuna Coil and ZoSo (Led Zeppelin tribute). Soon after, Dimitrienko started performing at the bigger clubs and playing infront of sold out crowds in Des Moines at Seven Flags, Val Air Ballroom, Wooly's, Festivals, The Rave (Eagles Ballroom) in Milwauke, WI, opening for national acts such as Candlebox, Skid Row, Trapt, Queensryche, Slaughter, Megadeth, Shinedown, Art Of Dying, Saving Abel, Pop Evil, My Darkest Days, Hurt, Deuce (Hollywood Undead), Bang Tango, Smile Empty Soul, Psychostick, Edisun, Earshot, Dirty Little Rabbits, Wildstreet, Destrophy, Kissmania, FLAW, Lynam, Signam A.D., The Last Vegas, Moneyshot, Future Leaders of the World, Texas Hippie Coalition, Romantic Rebel, Buckcherry, Otherwise, Screaming For Silence, Another Lost Year, and more. He was direct support for many of those acts throughout the years.

Before Shatter’s second album was completed, Dimitrienko was not seeing eye to eye with some of the other members in the band and felt lack of progress as the band was constantly changing members due to personal differences. He couldn't take the drama and negativity that was making the band very unhealthy. "Everyone is falling apart. Everyone is constantly bringing personal problems into the band. Some members don't want to be a team anymore. This isn't healthy for anyone. This isn't healthy for the music. This isn't going to work", Dimitrienko said. At this time, he felt he needed a fresh start. At the end of 2013, Dimitrienko left Shatter to focus on his music career.

Igor Dimitrienko first gained popularity around the Midwest while touring with his band Shatter. Des Moines has been the home of metal music for many years and Dimitrienko added something fresh and new to the scene with his dominant and roaring “in-your-face” rock style lead playing. In 2010, Dimitrienko went to Sacramento, CA where he recorded his first professional album ‘Timeless’ with producer, engineer, bassist, and songwriter Brian Wheat of the legendary rock band Tesla. While there, Dimitrienko lived and worked in Teslas’ J Street Studio with Brian Wheat for nearly 2 months. He was often complimented by rock and roll giants such as Frank Hannon and Dave Rude of Tesla) as well as music producers for Deftones, Papa Roach and Smash Mouth who visited the studio on countless occasions during Dimitrienko’s stay at J Street Studio. On the entire ‘Timeless’ album, Dimitrienko was the only guitarist both rhythm and lead. Brian Wheat described his playing as "Jimmy Page meeting Tony Iommi". Once he returned back to Iowa, after the album release of ‘Timeless’ at House of Bricks in Des Moines, his band Shatter blew up in the Des Moines music scene and became one of the most popular rock bands between 2011-2013. Dimitrienko soon became the "Slash" of the Des Moines music scene and he is frequently referred to as the "Mad Russian" by his fans. To this day, he has a huge impact on many rock clubs in the Des Moines Metro. He is often recognized in public and on social media. Dimitrienko's band Shatter released a couple of music videos where his work can be seen. His work with Shatter can be experienced on the entire ‘Timeless’ album that is still available on iTunes and CD Baby. Music videos from Shatter's hit songs like "See You Again" and "Streets Aren't Paved in Gold" captured Dimitrienko's early rock years and both videos can be found on YouTube.

In 2012, Mike Adams moved to the Des Moines, Iowa area for work and having been a long-time veteran of the Chicago music scene, Adams wasted no time in finding a project to begin playing in the area. After much searching Adams answered an ad for a band called Shatter in which Dimitrienko was the founding guitarist. After playing with the band for a period of approximately 9 months Adams left the group due to personal and musical differences. Fast forward 3 years later when Adams was surfing his Facebook page, he noticed Dimitrienko had left Shatter as well and was performing a solo performance at a local venue with Ramirez and Anderson. Adams then contacted Dimitrienko and told him he might stop up and take in the show. At which point Dimitrienko invited Adams to sit in with the band for a few songs which ended up being the entire set. By 2015, the 4 then began playing regularly and informally under the moniker 'Igor and Friends' as the band continued to perform they began writing original music and realized there was an unmistakable musical chemistry between the 4 of them after writing their first original song, "Dyin' Thrill" and debuting it with positive response. The formation of Audio Curve began shortly shortly after. The 4 then decided to formally become a band. After a long decision upon a real name they came to call themselves Audio Curve based on the sound wave of an oscilloscope. Once the name was intact, the formally formed Audio Curve began frequently playing the local Des Moines music scene. As they were performing gigs around the city and building a name for themselves, at the same time, they focused on writing original material, songs like "Celebrate", "We Once Knew", "Bloody Red Like the Wine" and many others. Audio Curve released a demo of "Bloody Red Like the Wine" gaining some good press and media's attention.  By 2016, the band decided to start writing their debut album 'Through The Crests And Troughs'.

Be on the lookout for this new wave of artistry coupled with superior talent, fresh ideas and a sound that will surely leave you wondering what direction the musical road will curve with the spectacular new rock group, Audio Curve.

About "Tickin' Away", Audio Curve's single.

"Tickin' Away" is a song written by Audio Curve's frontman, singer, guitarist Igor Dimitrienko, recorded and released by Audio Curve. It became Audio Curve's first single from their anticipated upcoming debut album 'Through The Crests And Troughs' due Spring 2018. "Tickin' Away" was successfully released worldwide on January 1st, 2017 on the bands Facebook page, gaining them worldwide attention.

Dimitrienko wrote "Tickin' Away" about his unforgettable childhood, growing up in Saint Petersburg, Russia in the late 80s and early 90s. It describes his experiences during the summers spent on his mother's farm down by the Gulf of Finland, near the Baltic Sea. "Tickin' Away" is written about a very special place in Dimitrienko's heart which he considers to be his home where he spend most of his time as a kid. It portrays him growing up in what once used to be an electronic free, non-technological, everyday life. The lyrics paint a scenery of a rooster and the storytelling rock near the garden by the old water well. There are mentions of his mother's house full of paraffin lamps and kerosene smells, all before electricity took over. The lyrics also touch on the memories of his grandmother who he loved dearly. In the song, there is a train that is a dream like entity forming a scenario where it never stops and always misses its destination. In the second verse, "Many mournful winters come and go, can't see to get a rise. Take me back to Baltic Sea, fly me towards the skies" is a powerful line that means, just come get me and take me home already. Dimitrienko explains his idea and meaning of time and how it constantly ticks without a pause. How it never slows down and how it knows no second chance. "Tickin' Away" teaches us to not take life for granted because tomorrow is not promised. It shows us to never give up on dreams and on strong beliefs. The song tells us a story of how Dimitrienko was a once a kid from Russia that came to America where he had to start a new life. "Tickin' Away" captures Dimitrienko's transition from a child in Saint Petersburg to a man in USA. The first few lines of the lyrics "Gonna make it back to mama's farm. Gonna beat the sunrise", hint towards Dimitrienko possibly going back home someday to pick up the pieces to his heart, which he left there a long time ago. "Tickin' Away" is a true story of Igor Dimitrienko's life. It is easily one of his most important chapters and a story he wanted everyone to relate to.

"Tickin' Away" is a funky, yet hard impact rock song that will serve as the catalyst for Audio Curve's future recordings. It is available in a top quality, lossless WAV, MP3, AIF, or FLAC download. It was produced, mixed, and mastered by Griffin Landa. It was recorded at The Establishment Recording studio in Des Moines, Iowa.

‘“Tickin’ Away’ is one of those songs that I love playing every showw. It reminds me of where I came from and how lucky I am to be doing what I do.” - Igor Dimitrienko

Dimitrienko's Early Years

Dimitrienko grew up in Saint Petersburg, Russia. On January 7th, 1995 he and his family flew to America and began a new life. After graduating Valley High School in 2001 he had been playing guitar and writing music about life. His first 2 songs he wrote are "Into This World" and "Band New Blues". Both songs tell the tale of Dimitrienko's journey to the United States when he was just a child. Later, after forming Audio Curve, Dimitrienko’s current band, he wrote “Tickin’ Away”, a song about looking back on his new life in the United States.

Dimitrienko is currently working on his first solo album that is set to drop sometime 2018-2019.
